another visit, and she just keeps getting cuter...

I love this picture of AG and Gramma. As soon as Gramma had finished making dinner, and everyone had served themselves and sat down at the table, Gramma threw down the towel and said "it's my turn with that baby!" She rocked her to sleep while the rest of us scarfed down fried cornbread and homemade mac-n-cheese.



Gramma loves AG more than fried cornbread (that's saying a lot- her fried cornbread is AMAZING!!)...



GranMollie kept surprising herself with how cute AG was...



AG already knows how cute she is, she could care less about that. What really concerns her? Whether burp cloths are edible...

Well I tried to pick just a few of these pictures that Derek was able to capture, but alas I couldn't so I just published them all!! I LOVE the 4th one down because it looks like she is holding the camera herself and took the picture...too funny to even imagine a 5 month old taking her own pic!! My First Pool Party

My Big Cousin Willa

I LOVE my big cousin Willa...she takes such good care of me!! Every night before I went to bed she would make sure I was fed and then give a big kiss goodnight and then talk about how all she wanted to do the next morning was hold me...how sweet!!
It was so amazing to me to see the interaction between these guys and how well they instantaneously bonded with one another. Hagen always wanted to know where the baby was, Willa always was making sure she was held, fed, and loved, and Ashlynn was always keeping an eye on both Willa and Hagen intrigued by their every move! AWESOME!!!

Meeting My Cousins

Me, my cousins Willa and Hagen, and my Aunt Jen...man I have waited SOOOOOO long to meet these guys!!!
A BIG hug for Willa...I like her A LOT!!!
Playing on my wiggle worm mat with my cousins...if I was playing on the mat then Hagen would take over and keep it nice and warm for me!

Hagen tried to keep me happy by letting me borrow his "aminal" but I was not satisfied with that...I wanted his sippy cup full of chocolate milk, but he didn't want anything to do with that!!Willa and I hanging out on the couch...she was SOOOO good at keeping me company when all the grown-ups had their hand full!!
And this is what happens to me after a weekend with my cousins...man they wore me out!!!!!!!!

Spoon...what's that?!?!

So the Doctor told us that Ashlynn was ready to start eating baby food if we wanted to try, but first we needed to get her used to eating with a spoon using cereal. Well with her battling an ear infection ever since they told us this at her 4 month check-up none of us have been relaxed enough to try it except for here...do you think she enjoyed it?!?!? I think she actually did, but her chin liked it even more!!!

Multi-tasker

Ashlynn entertained her father with a quick game of peek-a-boo while also educating herself...she must be related to her Yia-yia if she can have this many things going on at once and not lose her mind!!

Ashlynn thinks she is ready for a big girl cup!!

Ashlynn not only decided that she was going to skip all the good juices, but she also decided that sippy cups were for sissys and instead she went straight for the Diet Coke in a pint glass!!! (Seriously I did not even place this cup anywhere near her...she was asleep on my shoulder, perfectly happy and then I tried to take a sip and she was to have none of that...it was HER'S...don't worry though I didn't actually let her have any of it!)
