My first hair-do!

Seriously do I need to say anything about this picture!?!?! I think is one of my favorite pictures of Ashlynn so far...I mean look at those eyes, who could ever say no to them?!?!
Huh? What? I don't know!

Look at that belly!!

Whatev's

My first Teething Cookie...

or my first BIG mess made all by me!! So I was a little nervous about giving Ashlynn "solid" food, but everyone advised me that she would love them and that she did! Derek's two brothers came over for my special burgers before heading off to Clemson for the semester, and I needed a way to entertain her while I cooked...problem solved with the cookie. Ashlynn talked to this thing like she had known it for years and then get so excited her arms would flail up in the air, and the cookie would end up on the top of her head, then she would look ALL AROUND for it until I put it back on the highchair. Too funny...we all got quite a few good laughs from something so simple that night, and we were able to enjoy a nice dinner!!

Me and my Grandad's

So Ashlynn has already proven herself to be "Daddy's little girl," and I think these pictures are proof that she's going to have both her Grandad's wrapped around her little finger before she can even say the word "finger."

Waking Up...

This has become one of my FAVORITE time to spend with Ashlynn...those first few minutes when she wakes up on the weekends. After our go, go, go pace for the work week we all get to sleep in a little and wake up in a much more relaxed state (something about not rushing to be out of the door at 6:30 am with three bags in tow really helps!). She wakes up so excited to start the day with Derek and I and I just stare at her thinking about how lucky I am to have such a happy baby who loves me no matter what!!

Okay well Derek and I love all of these pictures, but Derek is especially proud of the above picture... Pay close attention to her right hand...yes, you are seeing correctly she is rocking out in the bathtub while eating her washcloth!! She really seemed to enjoy the bath at her Great-gramma's more so then at home (I think it's because their tub is flat and she actully got to play in the water and not be confined to such a small personal tub like we have to use at home)...you know what that means?!?! More trips to Neal's Hill to take advantage of the tub!!!
